Samawaspor is a football team representing Indonesian students in Sakarya in various tournaments and football competitions in Türkiye. The team was formed before 2018, and the name "Samawa" was officially established in 2018. "Samawa" stands for "Sakarya Mahasiswa Istimewa," in English means “Exceptional Student of Sakarya” which reflects the spirit, dedication, and togetherness of Indonesian students in Sakarya in the football field.

As a football team under the Indonesian Student Association of Sakarya, Samawaspor is committed to developing the football talents of Indonesian students in Sakarya, strengthening the bond between team members, and promoting the spirit of sportsmanship among Indonesian students in Sakarya.

Samawaspor serves as a platform for Indonesian students who have an interest and talent in football to compete and grow in a supportive environment. With a spirit of unity, achievement, and sportsmanship, Samawaspor strives to be a competitive and respected team within the football community in Sakarya.

We hope to continue bringing pride and success to the Indonesian Student Association of Sakarya and to all members of the team.

Several achievements have been accomplished in the Athan Cup and KJRI Cup tournaments, which are organized by the Embassy of Indonesia in Ankara and the Consulate General of Indonesia in Istanbul, respectively, since the official establishment of the Samawa team in 2018.
